Oilquip, Inc. manufactures custom LVDT enclosures to help customers with specific solutions for their linear displacement (position) measurement. Using contactless LVDT (Linear variable displacement transducers), precision machined parts, including 1 linear guide rail and external grease ports, ensure both linearity and accuracy with the moving system. This highly reliable design is typically used in servo-controlled systems where reliable monitoring and position data is critical. These systems can utilize between 1 to 3 LVDT’s providing redundancy in either high select control schemes or 2-out-of-3 voting systems. Different mounting styles can be utilized to fit almost any application. Stroke length can vary from 1.5” to 70” and can be installed in hazardous areas including Class 1 Division 1 environments.
